Hi All, It's my first time planting Amaryllis. I'd like to share my Amaryllis blooming!

"Best considered the 'deluxe' sort of 'Picotee' with any number of marketing names. Here best belong clones such as 'Picotee Red Lining,' 'Picotee Petticoat,' etc. These types have extra red coloration that strays outside the outer petal edges, often flushing the face of the flower with extra brushstrokes. Probably best considered as 'Bob Ross,' the only registered name for this type (Ludwig/Berbee 1997). See also Ã¢ÂÂPresident Johnson." citation from Emaryllis.com

Appliances are in! We went with all Bosch appliances. We have a wall oven on the bottom and the speed oven/microwave combo on top. Fridge will be in the next series of pictures. (Just a reminder that these photos are not in real time so this happened a few weeks ago).

Keeping things tidy in a bedroom can be difficult when storage is insufficient. I looked at your bedroom ideabook and you saved some very pretty rooms. Most have an airy and bright feel to them - lots of white, bright colours and easy storage. My advice to you is to take a good hard look at all your stuff and figure out what you want to keep and what you don't need anymore. Ask yourself why things are messy all the time. Is it because you simply don't have space for everything or is it because you're not giving yourself the time to put things away? Do you need more closed storage? If you're visual and "out of sight, out of mind" is your reality, closed storage can be a double-edged sword. If you share more pictures of your room, perhaps someone can suggest a better layout for it. Sometimes, moving things around changes the energy in a space and we feel revitalized in it. ETA: repurposing items for other uses is a fantastic idea. That type of creativity is always useful, especially when setting up a small space!

Agreed with @ Norwood Architects. A shmear is really were you need to go. It’ll look great with the stones. Match the color to the siding and have the professionals do a thick layer of it. I also think beefing up the porch posts a little bit will help the house come together beautifully I LOVE the wood door, love the siding, your dream is coming soon. It’ll all come together. Quickly. Don’t stress :)

Beautiful photos. and a wonderful collection. They really brighten things up...we are still having temperatures below zero, 5 foot snow banks, and it looks like December outside. I have given Amaryllis as gifts, but never grew them. Must give them a try sometime.

Ramanujam, thanks for bringing this collection to the top of the forum again. It's ordering time. :)

Picotee looks amazing. I have only a tiny baby left from my first one, that for some reason declined in my care. It was one of the first three I owned, so maybe I just didn't have the feel for them yet. I'm trying to get this little one to recover, but I might just order another one and start over. The red edge on the original (and its offspring) has never been as clear as on the ones Nitili P pictures.
