The tool that people used to pick up blocks of ice with - that would work on the end of a chain/rope from your cherrypicker, and should pick those pieces of trunk right up.

As long as those blocks don't weigh more than the lift rating on your cherrypicker...

A set of yokes with log tongs. There ya go. Two men can easily lift any of those chunks.

you motor cherry picker.. i could not figure out how to make those small wheels roll across grass.. even if the ground is frozen .. wrong tool in my estimate ...

use it.. to put it in juniors wagon ... gently pull out there.. and then tip wagon and all over ...

They also make all kinds of tree chains and tongs for ATVs and tractors that would do the job with little effort of your part if interested. My dad has a couple of farm eq magazines that have many different sizes. Didn't find exactly what I wanted on google for a link...

Like Ken, I initially assumed you meant an aerial truck. And then I was going to ball you out for using something on which your life could depend to lift heavy objects. We had one long ago that did indeed have a winch on the boom, and it was used in the old days to load wood. But all in all, it's best not to use such equipt. for that.

The other thing I thought I was going to see in your pic was logs! That's firewood.

Oh well, I'd imagine you've completed the task by now. ;^)

I'd roll them into place. Or drag them with my truck.
Or cut them into wafers and then restack them where you want them. It's just firewood after all.
I have a nice heavy duty dolly for moving heavy things like rocks, trees, and large chunks of concrete.
