I have 4 different kinds of bananas, ice cream, dwarf orinoco, basjoo and SDC. I noticed that the ice cream tends to have most of this stuff out of the 4. It's normal.

I always thought it was the dry spray (no stick powder) from our printing presses whafting through the hallways and settling on the plants. Then I inhereted the plants and grew them outside and all of the offspring have the white residue even after it rains.
