That has to be one of the prettiest garden statues I have ever seen and I am not usually a big garden statue kind of person. The sundown echinacea is looking really vigorous and is a gorgeous color. You must be very happy with it.

The statue was a Christmas gift from my husband and daughters about 5 years ago. Her name is Fiona and she guards this spot every growing season. I love faries and have a small collection of which she is the largest. When this Sundown started to bloom the petals were very thin, sort of curled and more pink than orange. The older the blooms get the wider and more glowing orange the petals get. It seems to be different every day and there are plenty of buds forming.
Melba, I sincerely hope and am definately going to try to get seeds from this beauty. I definately want more and am thinking of trying to root some cuttings. Please remind me that you would like some seeds as I would like to share.
GGG, thanks for the comments and interest to see more. It is difficult on this forum because of how little I have to share of my ws success...I'm still waiting for blooms and the time to get more pictures. I do have some more pictures on the Cottage Garden forum in the gallery (I see you do too...and they are great).
