Here we go again!
Well, I was wondering why my No. 0016 appeared to be sulking and this morning I decided to take a closer look. A Narcissus Bulb Fly larvae has been happily munching away all summer at the innards of my poor No. 0016, no wonder it wasn't happy!!
So, I cleaned her out as well as possible and since there is still plenty left to the bulb with many good healthy roots, I will replant it after pouring captan down her throat after drying and hope that it sets several offsets as many of my other NBF devoured bulbs have done. Since you can't purchase this one again I'm hoping for the best.
Here is my poor baby with a stake right through her heart...

It was never one of my more vigorous bulbs as it only ever gave me 2 flowers but I liked her and made several crosses using her pollen that are growing around here somewhere.
