Like the TV cartoon "The Replacements", sometime the replacements aren't that much better! Zombie and Little Devil both had long scapes that are white white and hopeless. Little Devil had already tried to bloom. Both bulbs look good and solid, so snip...off with the scape. The Jingle Bells is the only one in the batch that is dormant.

I got my McClure-Zimmerman box today. 4 nice sized bulbs of Limona, Queen of Hearts, Lilac Wonder, and Elvas. The last two are still very dormant, but Limona and Queen of Hearts have a tiny tip of a scape peeking out, so the roots are soaking and I'll pot them up tomorrow.

My Evergreen and Vera arrived yesterday. Can't believe no one wants Vera....she is hurt! But...I can stagger the planting and have lots of Vera blooms and pollen.

Hope everyone is getting there bulbs now....looking forward to lots of photos soon!!
