This Greenhouse came just in time. My plants look rough. I had them indoors to long with not enough lighting.

Looks good. Within a week of being in the heated GH my plants looked 100% better. That GH was a PITA to set up but well worth the aggravation for the cost. Enjoy : )

I completely agree about the PITA! But things are definalty looking up! I was gonna loose them if they stayed in the house much longer. I lost my American Pride , Phanomenal,Painted Lady and Inca Sun. I cant complain I was overloading knowing I didnt have the space at the time. I had a case of the cant help its.

That sounds really exciting lisajane! I would definitely look at garage sales and furniture consignment stores for a table since you want to craft on it, you don't want to be afraid of scratching it and or spilling paint, but a vinyl table cloth, you can find solid ones that don't look like a picnic at grandma's house, that works in your colour scheme would be good if you do paint. I would definitely want to get rid of the carpet and laminate would be easy cleanup. I am a crafter too, it gets messy sometimes. I just recommend you really consider how you like to work, do you like to spread things out, leave them out, have numerous things going on at one time, do you prefer to stand or sit? Those answers will lead you to table height and size that works for you within the confines of the room space. Also consider how you like to read, curled up in a big cozy chair, laying out on sofa, how many people are using the space to read? A nice small area rug with a comfy chair and ottoman and side table and reading lamp could be great in the nook. I too like the sounds of that book recommended by another houzzer, I think I will look into it. Have fun with this project!

I think you're right to consider a new rug to set the colorway to the room. If you plan to get rid of all the seating but the lounger, then that chocolate is the only color that constrains the rug colors. Be sure the rugs you look at are all at least 2 feet longer than the sofa length you're planning to buy. The art is quite dark and heavy and is overpowering the sofa. Generally, art should be no more than 75% of the sofa's width, and that art needs a visually "heavier" color in the sofa material. Using colors from it is also a good idea. I like swivel chairs in a TV room myself. I suggest you get rid of the dried grasses and the basket. You might paint the small table by the bergere chair in a brighter color. Consider adding LED uplights under your palm and other larger live greenery to add interest and light.

JfJ now all we need to do is fill that sucker up with plants and BRUGS. Looks like ya'll did a good job.

Z8 is just warm enough to wear you out taking them in and out. I just left all but my brand new rooters outside. I did loose a few maybe 5% but they were abused.

Anchor that baby down..... It looks real nice and sturdy. I like the dual sliding doors. Enjoy...

Nice J4J! Just a quick question..aren't you worried about puddles n such with that flooring? Slippery too. If you use patio pavers for the floor, they will hold the heat for at night..especially if you paint them black.
Looks like that's the one I have had my eye on, but I think when the time comes, I'm prob gonna wind up building my own..scarey thought, lol. It will probably collapse on me.
If I could just talk hubby into getting me one.
Hell, him just agreeing to a pond was like pulling teeth.
"Electricity to run a pond?" Uh--yeah, dopey, I'm not gonna sit out there and pedal a bike to power the pump, lol.
Better yet, I could just get a dang donkey and one of those old thingies where the donkey walks in circles, lmao!!!!

The flooring isnt done. I just ran out of Money.LOL I just got this far Saturday. I havent had time yet Im still working on it. I just wanted to give anyone contimplating the HFGH an idea of how ot will look. Not bad For 599.00. But it will cost more for Silicone, Bracing, shelves and the flooring is actually pretty high.Just the flooring material can run 75.00 easy.But Im gonna do some more work on it over the next couple of weeks. Thanks for all the help and encouragement everyone.

Wow, that looks great. I just showed the pics to my husband. He said that must have cost a thousand bucks. I said no only half that, can I have one, lol. He knows I need one its just a matter of time, lol.
