Yes. It's easy if you put your photo in Photobucket. They provide the correct kind of link data you need to make the photo appear in your message.

i use photobucket to host my pictures. with photobucket you can use the html code that they provide to put in the message block on the forum. you will see the picture when you preview the message before you submit, if it is done correctly
or you can use this code, but you will still have to use a different site to host your picture.
