Great collection. Is that agave palmeri? I plan on buying a few creososte bushes from a local nursery. I wanted to a get one gallon but nobody sells anything but the 5 gallon containers. Where did you get the ones you have there?

adp abq, I'm not sure which of the tree agave you mean (from top pic), the one on the right is gone already, afte more than 10 years, but I have a couple of them left in its place.
The creosote bush was 'saved' from a place where road construction was taking place. It was about 1' when I transplanted it.

How do you keep the stenocereus from growing tall? Or are they recent additions?

Which one do you say is the stenocereus because I don't have any stenocereus in my collection. Which pic??
I don't think stenocereus will thrive here, are they hardier than sahuaro?, they get killed by low temperatures here

hmmm....4th pic, center of view.....several of the same species.... Spination, color, and spine color look a lot like a fat steno.....

I don't know of much hardier than saguaro, unless it is opuntia!

Those are Echinocereus fendleri. Saguaro are not hardy enough here, they get killed when temperature reaches 0F. Most of my collection consist of Echinocereus, and all of them take 0F fairly well.
