Happy New Year's! I am still thumbing though catalogues trying to decide if I reaaaa. . . .lly need to have that particular plant or seed package. Why is it they all look so tempting in the middle of winter? I've got my garden seeds cleaned and sorted (finally) and now have to start winter sowing. Now to pick out some to start planting.

Happy New Year from Vancouver Island, wishing everyone the upcoming gardening season be the best one ever. Today was quite mild here, the sun actually came out.
I have Hellebores showing buds, the winter jasmine is starting to bloom and best of all I haven't seen any winter damage like we had last year, at least not so far, touch wood.
