Today's pics finally a real flush

Here are some pics from today but the pond is a pic that was still on there from yesterday before I added the iris. I found one cool flower on my largest brug with each petal seperated. The red one is my oldest canna and the white ones on the fence my moonflower. I stuck one in there of my tattoo as well since I don't care who sees it, lol. I designed it and the guy custom made it for me and it was supposed to have more colors but after just the outline I was ready to leave so I told him just make it dark pink, lol. The last one is Jim's tonight. It has huge flowers and the one before that is whats left of Miz Scarlet. I hope she gets a pod. The big stripped one is shredded white. I had to remove most of the leaves because of cat damage.

    Kristy,

Lovely tat. I was going to get one years ago but never got around to it. Some people say to go on and get one but don't think hubby would be too happy about it. :(

Pond is looking good with plants. I see that Waldo II already has some buddies. ;)

The brug bloom with separate petals, is that normal for the plant or is it just one bloom?

And Wow! look at that pink flush. That is amazing looking. How many blooms is on it? I've never seen one in person with that many blooms. Superb job.

With my eyes still a little closed I thought what is she talking about a tattoo plant? WEll Kristy my eyes are open now lol. Did you always want one? Does this one mean something special? with a second look I now know WHERE it is lol. You are brave!
I guess seeing all the beauty from the full flush and all the other blooming flowers, takes your mind off of your tattoo pain? Doesn't it hurt?

Deb I hope one day you will have one that does a real big flush for you.

P.S. Good morning everybody and have the best day possible!

The pond is looking good! Plants - great, of course! :) Tats - I don't have one. Wonder if there's a brug or datura tat?? lol! Also - you've given me an idea for a few raised beds in the back yard next year. The dogs - well, they're just going to have to 'move over!' lol!

Kristy, how did you get your brug bloom in the pot? mine in the pot never bloom. should I feed it some thing? I like your tatoo too, very pretty. A girl in my work got a tatoo yesterday, a dragon on the whole side of her thigh. it does'nt sound pretty but it is, she paid a lot of money for it; she called skin art ;)

I got the tattoo a long time ago when I first started having all these problems with my back and was feeling bad about my self. My best friend talked me into it and yes it hurt like crap. The girl getting one beside me actually passed out. The tattoo guy said I don't know why everyone wants one there. It hurts worse than anywhere else. I wanted mine there so I could only show it if I wanted to. People that know me now are amazed that I have one if they happen to see it, lol. Hong if you give it a good size pot and feed it a lot with fish emulsion and bloom booster and water it a lot it will bloom. Oh, I got my belly button pierced way back then too but I had to take it out. It kept catching on my clothes and nearly ripped all the way out. I kept that plant growing over the winter last year. Not all the blooms are seperate petals like that but I found a few that were. They only last over night in the vase. It may have opened back up the next day but I had to chunk them out they smell so strong I couldn't breath in here. This one will have to go dormant this winter. If it blooms like that in the garage I'll choke to death, lol. Miz Scarlett is what Brenda is calling her dark pink seedling. It got really dark. Nearly red. Yes Waldo ll has buddies. I love frogs, lol. I moved them from the flower bed. You couldn't see them there. I kept trying to count the flowers but there were too many sticking every which way, lol. I don't know but its a lot. Been blooming for a few days now. I wanna see your flower tats Bri. They just had on the news they are collecting food and clothing down the street from me for the shelters in Killeen for the hurricane victims still here. There are over a thousand with no home left to go back to. I am broke at the moment but have plenty of food so gonna run gather up some of the can stuff and some clothes I can't fit my tatooed rear into and run them down there before work. Have a wonderful day you all. I'll check back in later.

Anyone notice the individual petal pic of that one bloom? I have found a few more. It has such a strong recurve I didn't notice it until I looked at each flower and was looking for it. Instead of the points curling back like some do the whole petals curl back on those.

I am still in Louisville working. I sit on the patio, at my hotel, every evening, with a good cigar, reading all of your posts. Its a great way to end the day! Thank you, all. I haven't put in my 2 cents very often, because it is a pain in the (don't let the door hit you in the...) to post, using my iPhone. I keep coming back to this thread, though, and I can not remain silent any longer.

I think that tattoos, on a woman, are one of God's wonderful little gifts... so, Kristy, thank you for sharing. Additionally, I would like to cast my vote, in the affirmative, for the following:

For Bri to share her tats.

For Deb to get that tat... hubby just doesn't want to admit that he loves them.

For Sultry to share her belly-button ring (another of His gifts).

    LOL... But I mean it!

Oh yeah... I love the pond, Kristy. I have always wanted to put in a pond, but I just don't know where to put it. Also, I am so afraid that it will not be perfect... I am way anal about my gardens... never satisfied. And I am afraid that I will not be able to keep the water balanced correctly... I have enough trouble with the "ceement pond"! Perhaps, one day, I will get over my fears... Did I mention that I love the tat?

Pretty pinks and love that red. Finally Texas has started to cool down.

Now comes my pretty time for 6-8 months. I lived through another coastal summer.
