2 zygocacti questions: 1 red and 1 sick!

Hi, all,

My zygocactus has a problem. Wilting I understand (too little water and it was on the porch getting more sun than it ought to) but it has developed blotchy yellow areas along the centers of some of the larger/lower sections. I know this means I either need to give or withhold something in it's care but I don't know what. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Also, I spied a zygo at the campus library that has a distinctly rosy cast to the segments, except of course the woodier lower 'trunk'. Could this be a specific cultivar or simply a reaction to the amount of light it gets? It's beside a very sunny window and has very nice shape to it so I'm trying to catch the owner/caregiver to chat with her.

Thanx in advance for any experience or input,

Kitty
