We've had hummers for a few weeks now. They are the biggest thrill in the garden!!

I've had them here in Carthage since the beginning of April. Since my penstemen have started blooming though I have not seen them for about a week. Adele

Saw my first hummingbird of the year on April 14.

I haven't seen any yet!! wahhh!!!

Usually they dance around my mandevilla and it is not blooming yet so that may be why. I think I'll fill my hummingbird feeder though.

I saw mine really early. April 4th. Now they are gone. I hate it when everything around us is in bloom and they stick with the invasive honeysuckle and the native jassamine and totally ignore my yard. They will be back and I'll enjoy them all day though.

We got the passers-through late March, early April. Then none for a week or two. The all-summer crowd are here now.

i've yet to see one here this spring ... the feeders are stocked and i've been awaiting the usual traffic jam around my hummingbird-magnet salvias - nary a one.

We had our first one April 1 (Clayton area) ... I think the early ones were still migrating North, because we wouldn't see any for a couple days. Now, we have them regularly at the feeders and all over the larkspur and salvia.
