A customer of mine (i'm a horticulturalist) is having this issue with her colorado blue spruce, that was planted PROPERLY, by a landscaping company. She said it started browning out a few days later.

My gut is telling me that it is from 'overspray' or 'broken branches' maybe even from the planting.

Does anyone have a SERIOUS input on this?

I would just say to prune out the brown branches a bit, and fertilize with some evergreen tree stakes.
