Zsolt, please rename the Thuja occidentalis 'Syrena' into 'Selena', which is the right cultivar name...

Aren't we becoming educated. I have to Google all the things you guys talk about that I have never heard of but then I find interesting things to send you to expand your knowlege. Looks like the original kielbasa was pork but as the article says people just change an ingredient here and another there and it changes the whole product. I try to stay away from that sort of thing because of the fat level. When my joeys were little and we barbecued sausages for them a bit, I used to boil them first to get a lot of the fat out, which wasn't really good for barbecuing but because they were boiled, they only needed browning to give them the barbecue flavour. Haven't heard of beet horseradish either, not supposed to eat horseradish so usually ignore it in recipes. Any spice sausage like that I like to add tzatziki, the cucumber has a lovely cooling effect like with curries.

thanks Guys. my biggest concern is how to make such a house"warm" i mean i live in Poland and is pretty damn cold sometimes:) i have no experience about isolating brick and stone houses. big house i dont mind to cover in whatever it takes but the stone one i want to keep as it is outside. by the way i want to make my living room and kitchen in that stone house all the way up to the top ,open space big place. on the other building will be all the badrooms and other things. i want to open both buildings to outside wich is very green . big windows will be great but but trying to keep good taste of old buidings.it will be a big challange to connect botch roles. i want to connect both buildings witch glass only so it will give an softer look,and crazy look from inside. isulation bu the way is my biggest concern for now. how to make this house as warm as possible so i can save energy , money and green:)

Hi. I think you should leave the garage door as is and paint the small door next to it the same colour, then put a warm brick red on the door -- and at a minimum, dress it up with two miniature trees in pots. Maybe you could find a miniature gold-coloured conifer that will give you brightness in March. Long-term one would probably need four of them, so that your could have two in the sun and two at the door at any one time. I have no idea what happened, this was supposed to be in conifers. Could someone please move it. I figured if I started it in the conifer section that it would be posted in the conifer section. Like it used to be. I havent been on here in a while and something has changed. I have no idea where “garden” is. When you go in gardenweb there is no “garden” forum. Thanks.

I try to collect some more infos about Selena and Syrena. Its a fact, that they are somehow similar in form. Selena is more white in colour, Syrena is a light lime, both selected by Wieslaw Wnuk in Poland.

Some additional comments to Zsolts discriptions.
Thuja occidentalis 'Maks' is seedling selection of the Thuja occidentalis 'Smaragd' named after the father of
Janusz Szewczyk.

This contains that the Abies koreana 'Budzow' found by M. Szewczyk is the same person which is Maks Szewczyk...

Years ago Janusz told me that seedlings of the Platycladus orientalis Krzemien came for 80 procent back as the original white variegated motherplant.

Some name corrections here:
Wieslaw Wnuk ends all his selections with WN, so it's
-Thuja occidentalis 'Selena WN'
-Thuja occidentalis 'Syrena WN'

Abies koreana 'Silberlocke' must be written as 'Horstmann's Silberlocke'.

Abies concolor 'Ledziny' is a true beauty which I realy would like to add to my collection...
