I have a deep purple/blue clematis vine that I train along my porch railing. It blooms in the spring, and I cut it back each fall (fairly close to the ground). I don't know what variety this is. It hass just about finished blooming now, and I wonder if there is anything I can do to make it bloom throughout the summer and fall (deadheading, for example?).
