What is the mulch material you have around the daylilies?

Cindy most of my daylilies are in pots and I just take some spanish moss and put it around the edge of the pots to kind of hide them when I take a photo.

Those are so very pretty. That Peppermint Delight is aptly named....it looks good enough to eat! My daylilies are just barely poking up through the ground (and this is early for them) so I have quite a while to go before I see them bloom. Til then I will enjoy yours! Thanks.

Goodness, your bloom season is off to a great start. DOYLE PIERCE is one I've always admired but I always wondered if it will do well here.
I do though have some dl seeds I grew last year with a cross of Doyle Pierce X Paul Aucoin. Hopefully I will see some bloom this year. I'd love to have some with that gorgeous bluish edge on them.
