holds its color well for a p. abies ....

saw a magnificent one at gee's i think ...

It's 'Aurea JaKobsen instead of 'Aurea Jacobsen'.
Swedish friends of my know Mr. Arne Vagn Jakobsen from Denmark personaly and he don't like it that people spelled his plants wrong most of the time.
Other conifers found by this person are;
Abies nordmanniana 'Jakobsen'
Larix kaempferi 'Jakobsen Pyramid'
Microbiota decussata 'Jakobsen'

Pinus mugo 'Jakobsen'

Needs a new name anyway as the current combination is "illegitimate". You aren't supposed to use Latin in cultivar names coined after 1959.
