Amazing blooms for your Sunday I love them all but Count it All is stunning.

Like the filtered light on Kisses Like Wine. I know that Count It All Joy has gotten kudos for bud count. This picture seems a darker pink than other postings (probably different light). Again, you don't really care for Julie Newmar?

Your garden is beautiful right now! I'm not sure how to pick a favorite. I absolutely love Count it all Joy and it rebloomed this year. Clwn Parade is a top favorite, Wyatt Earp and Red Rampage are beautiful, and I love your Julie Newmar. I can't choose just one, Rita. There are too many that are so beautiful.

Julie Newmar has really shaped up for you! That would be my favorite of these. I can't pick Count It All Joy because I picked it on your other post. My second favorite is Octoberfest. Happy Sunday!

Linda- Count It All Joy looked good last year but today it simply looks increadable.

mantis- Julie Newmar takes a good picture so I shoot it but it really isn't a flower that wows me in the garden.

Kay- You know I love garden views and I did take two today but didn't post them. I am really looking forward to seeing a sea of bloomers.

Debra- Julie Newmar does do well here since I moved it to my front yard afew years ago. I figgure it will just stay were it is but not a flower that I can get excited about.

Oh, I like Julie Newmar the best! That Paul Owens intro Oy Veh has a very warm look to it and I like it too.

Vickie- It takes great pictures and is a very popular daylily. I don't hate it and don't plan to chuck it or do anything about it but leave it were it is. It does all the funny pinching and thats not my style.

Wow, I do love Count it All, but every one is perfect, how can one choose between them. Lotus Position has been very sluggish with its blooms here, spacing one every 4 or 5 days it seems. The first couple of blooms were splotchy, the last 2 looked like they would have been great, but it poured rain on them both times & broke petals off. Looks like another one will be in bloom tomorrow, more rain predicted early tonight & early morning though. Still have lots of buds, maybe I will get to see one pretty bloom.

Very nice pics Rita. No favorites because you know, I love them all.

I've decided that our local weatherperson needs to go back to school. Suppose to be sunny here today but nope, cloudy with a few sprinkles. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Beautiful blooms again, Rita, I love COUNT IT ALL JOY.Thats really pretty. And WYATT EARP is gorgeous. Love that Red ,RED RAMPAGE is gorgeous, too.Your OKTOBERFEST is really pretty, and mine dont even resemble it,Wish I knew why. When the weather gets a little cooler again,I am going to move it to another location, or pot it and see if it will do better. Its too hot out now to do it.I dug up my BEAUTIFUL EDGINGS yesterday and put it back in a pot,as it was down to 1 leaf left, and I do not want to lose it.I figure it will grow better in my potting soil.I got too hot outside and got sick later, so I have to wait for a cooler day, which is probably months away., its already 98.
CLOWN PARADE is a beauty,I love that one, too.Hope to see more pictures of that one, too.,along with the LILIES :))

LA PETIT SABATOUR is a pretty one, too. Your gardens are really starting to pop now with blooms.

Julia- It started off really sunny but cloudy now here also.

Nancy- Lotis Position so far was better last year. The first flower was very splotchy. This one not so bad but I know it can look much better.

Jean- You must have posted while I was writing. Things here are really starting to hop as far as the daylily blooms go. It will be lots of bloom from now on.

As far as Oktoberfest is concerned it must be a seedling that got into the clump as I can't come up with any other explination. Hope you don't loose your Beautiful Edgings. It is such a pretty daylily.

Wonderful color! I like the first three best, though they're all really pretty. Almost bought Purple Maze this year.

You have a lot of beauties today! But it was actually easy for me to pick a favorite - Shadow of His Hand, what a great looking daylily!

Mike, I would think Purple Maze would do fabulously in your zone.

nat - Karol has so many truely striking purples. I do love purple daylilies, especially ones with purple eyes on a purple backround. Similair coloring and pattern on SHADOW OF HIS HAND to KANSAS KITTEN, THESE EYES and INCENDIARY. I am sure there are others. INCENDIARY (Maryott) is a really great one but in my opionion SHADOW OF HIS HAND is the best of the bunch.

Love all the Emmerich's and Shadow of his Hand is a beauty. Also like Kisses like Wine. Just great flowers all of them.

Just want to post that I know KLW is not an Emmerich, my previous post isn't worded very well.!!! LOL. I meant to say that all of the blooms that you posted are great, but all of the Emmerich's are great too.

So many lovely blooms! COUNT IT ALL JOY really stands out. It is beautiful.

    Nancy

Thanks guys! Cindy- While Kisses Like Wine is not an Emmerich but is a great doer and easy care. An fairly early bloomer that just keeps blooming and blooming. It usually is both one of the first and last to blooom up on the daylily plateau in the back.

What is the pinkish one in the top right corner of the RED RAMPAGE photo? I'm going to be difficult and pick the one you weren't even trying to take a photo of as my favorite. That bright violet eye really caught my attention. COUNT IT ALL JOY is my favorite of the rest, and your PURPLE MAZE continues to look very lovely. I'm with you in not liking JULIE NEWMAR as much as everyone else seems to. Her colors wow me, but I'm not fond of her form in most pics I see of her.

Casey- That would be THRILLSEAKER one of my Charmaine Rich from Vermont intros. I have a picture were you can see it all my itself in my Monday Bloomers Post for today.
