If you find a source please let me know! I got a pink one at the Mt Dora plant sale one year and lost it in a freeze. The grower was from Miami. Went back the next year to replace it and that was after the hurricanes and she said there were no mussaenda to be had that year. Maybe now she will have them again. I have never seen them at the big box stores here or at Lucas.

kate, they sell them here in deland at the 'place in the sun' nursery on mlk... they're totally dormant now, stuck in a corner, but i noticed them budding the last time i stopped by. good prices, too. if you're coming to nova's swap, i could probably pick some up for you...

I actually bought mine from A&G on 441 back in October-ish. They were beautiful, but got zapped in the freeze. I'm really hoping they come back but not holding out much hope, since everything else has been budding but them :(

i bet they come back... never grown them, but the nursery owner said she didn't protect hers. they're budding now, but one would expect plants in black one-gallons to leaf out earlier than plants in the bed. if you remember, tell the group if they're hardy in our zone.

I would loveit if you got me one too! I would have to bring you something special....
