They look great Kay! You must be at peak now! Mine are still scattered! Ellie

Geez, Kay, I don't know what to say. Each one just gets prettier and prettier. Your daylilies are so wonderful. Great views, love it.

    Thanks, Ellie,
Surely to goodness I am at or even past peak by now. I have been photographing these babies for over a month, and if you don't get them before the sun is up, you miss the prettiest shots, as you know. so I crawl my lazy carcass out of bed and take pictures at least and hour sometimes an hour and a half early. It is only June seventh and I've taken over 900 this month!

Rita, you smooth talker, you!@! thanks you.

Daylilies as far as the eye can see! Just beautiful! My daylilies are just getting started, seems slow, but I'm sure in a few days I'll have a lot in bloom.

Fabulous flower beds! I love seeing all your blooms. The last photo is especially stunning. It makes me feel like singing, "June is busting out all over!"

My goodness, y'all are so nice! Thank you, deangreen, those are my Roycroft daylilies. It took them longer than many others to get started, but they are really gorgeous plants and very generous bloomers.

Linda, I have seen the pictures you have posted, and thus I am sure your garden is beautiful.

Debra, thank you so much! What a nice thing to say. I will admit to being much more faithful in fertilizing and watering this spring. It's funny, but DH tells me...he thinks the blooms showed up more when the plants were shorter and paler last year.

I am enjoying the bloom, but I always take too many pictures.

Love your bed shots as usual. It's like a daylily paradise!!
I've already asked, but how do you water? Sprinklers or with the hose, or?
Also, what is that pink in the Emmerich bed picture?

These bed shots are wonderful. Great photos--especially catching the bee in mid flight in the Forsyth bed. Love the way you have them organized by hybridizer. I'd like to know too what the pink in the front of the Emmerich bed is.

Val and nat4b. Thank you for looking and commenting on my photos. That pink at the front of the Emmerich bed is Count It All Joy. Even though Karol Emmerich is a northern hybridizer, her introductions always do beautifully here in the deep south.

At this point, I water with sprinklers, but I plan to introduce emitters and try that, at least in one area. I had an old sprinkler shaped like a rabbit that worked well for watering a designated area, but it has sprung such a leak as to render it useless. I have a new sprinkler that I used for the first time yesterday, but DH set it out, and we have different goals in watering. I will let you know how it works when I set it up in the back bed which I plan to do tomorrow.
