Two New keeper in my back yard!!!

San Pietro : Finally a good fig fromUCDAVIS.

Vista Mission:Finally a normal fig(Not splitted)due to fact we finally had two dry days without rain.

This two figs are in second year from cuttings and are very good tasting and promissing.

Thanks to Jon in San Diego i have Vista and Thanks to UCDAVIS i have San Pietro.

Interesting to see the shape of the Vista in you climate. I would not have recognized it. After tasting 50-60 new figs this year, it is still a really nice fig that will compete well with the rest, and still be in the top 10, I think.

It is between the first five i have,no doubt one of the best on both coast From West to east.!!!!!!!.
I do have some more elongated looking like the one in your Garden but this was the first riping without rain damage and i wanted to show it off.!!!!!.The shape is unusual,i agree,but is a VISTA MISSION
