Golly Moses,I wish you folks thats getting some rain would send a drop this way.Geez, I went back out with my chair so I could sit and get the weight off my knee, and its like taking a steam bath out there. As soon as the ground gets wet from my watering, that steam rises and feels like you in a hot tub.I never have been IN one, but, with the name, its got to be hot.My hair is still dripping, and I have to wash it, but, am going to try my best to go back out and spray some stinky stuff on my Jungle garden out there,I have lots of pretty flowers in it,and its done run Past time for them deer to come eat it all up.

Beautiful Blooms! I love the shot of CLASSIC EDGE. They lok like they are snuggling together. MAE GRAHAM is really pretty also and I have to say your WONDER OF IT ALL always seems to look fabulous.

I like Classic Edge, and that is a decent picture of Palace Garden Beauty, you can see the detail in the bloom.
Ms. Blackie looks a bit cooler under the leaves.

I sure can relate to the hot & humid heat you are having Jean. It is the same way here. It is hard to be outside for any length of time without getting drenched with sweat! Pretty pictures. I think wonder of it all along with Blackie are my favorites in this group.

Jean, you have some beautiful blooms now. The sun is what is givein you such a hard time with your colors and photos. I have to get up much earlier that I want to to get good colors on the pics too.

Once again, china Bride is my pick of these.

Your daylilies seem to be doing really well in spite of the heat and lack of rain. Classic Edge is my pick for a change although WOIA looks fabulous as always.

RITA; I really like MAE GRAHAM, tooShe is nestled in all the different plants in my Jungle Garden # 2 at the end of my sidewalk. She seems to be very happy there, with a rose on each side of her, plus a Patio Tomatoe plant in a pot,amd WONDER OF IT ALL is in front of her, too. The first two blooms I had on WONDER OF IT ALL didnt open all the way, but soon as this hot weather started every one has been about perfect. No trouble opening now.I just LOVE this daylily.

Cindy. I am glad you think my photo is pretty good of Palace Garden Beauty.,I have seen much better before. Yes,ms Blackie stayed up under the lily leaves till I moved, then she came along to find another shady spot
Kathy, Thank you, yep, she has the edge and I just love it too.

Kay, Thank you.It was hard taking photos in that hot sun.I just had to keep wiping sweat out of my eyes to see anything, and with glasses, thats not easy to do.

Wonder of It All and Miss Blackie steal the show again. The Gerda Brooker seedling is looking awfully pretty, too. I wish I had some of that rain, too.

Stunning blooms I like them all especially MS Blackie she sure knows how to find a cool spot, though even a shady spot is not really to cool in this heat. I understand what you are going through with the heat being in FL myself isn't the south wonderful in the summer HA HA HA!!! Supposed to have record temps today thank God for air conditioning

Your photo of MAE GRAHAM is stunning. Are those mums blooming behind her? She looks very pretty with them. And I hope I can phrase this properly: WONDER OF IT ALL doesn't really do too much for me, but I totally love the way YOU love it! And it makes me smile each time I see another photo of her scrolling by.

houstmag;Yea, The south is wonderful, usually in the wintertime, but, sure is hot in the summer. Its like stepping into a oven when going outside.

Christine; Yes those ARE mums blooming behind Mae Graham..Sorry that you dont care for Wonder Of It All, but, we can't all like the same thing.I am sure you have a favorite one, too.:)

Nancy: yes. Ms Blackie just dont let me out of her sight when I am outside. She got sprinkled just a little this evening when I was trying to water everything. She was laying under a daylily and I didn't see her. soshe got sprinkled just a little before she ran out from under it.
