Green Thumb Fest, St. Pete

This weekend. I live very close (park and tyrone), anyone going may stop by and get plants (free of course to members). tomatoes(lots of cherry and grape), hot peppers( hungarian wax, cherry, cayenne, etc.), cantalopes, brussel sprouts, coleus cuttings, basil.

Also have some brugmansia(noids), and plumeria(noid), that I am willing to trade for anything different cuttings.

I don't really buy anything at the fest, but like to look and get my free plant and mulch. They gave away pentas last year and mine is still growing and ready for its 3rd repotting.

4203 park street, directly across from target sign. Anytime after 11, I should be back from the fest sat. and anytime sunday.

John, thank you for the offer, I'm going Sunday. Son is jumping out of an airplane for his 18th birthday Saturday!

It is the BEST plant show in the Tampa Bay area and always a joy to visit with friends and vendors. I, like you, don't usually buy anything, but the "tug on the purse string" is very STRONG at this show.

I always take my wagon and come home with something. This year I will be looking mostly for natives.

I'm going to this for the first time. I had potted a few herbs/veggies for my girls to bring for their "kid's plant", though that is starting to feel a little unmanageable. I was hoping i might find a queen's wreath to purchase-- is this a possibility, for those of you who have gone?

Thanks, and as to plants...well I never turn any down ;) unfortunately I don't have much to offer...we are really just starting [well, at end of first year/phase 1] of our formerly all-dirt-weed-patch backyard!

I'm planning on going on Saturday! I can't wait!

I have to say, I usually buy something. I get tired of the same ol' same ol' at Home Depot and Lowes. I look forward to buying something a little different from Green Thumb. I bought a Morning Glory last year. I just love it.
