A good source to buy Fragrant Orchids?

Can anyone recommend a good source for fragrant orchids. I have called and visited my local nurseries and none carry any! I need to buy a bunch for my covered patios.

Thank you!

No one has any recommendations?? :(

Amazon, eBay, there are tons of online sources.
I can't believe none of your local nurseries have any fragrant orchids. That sounds nuts!
I've also scored fragrant orchids at Lowe's before!

Of course Ebay! Haha... but Amazon too? Who would have thought?

Yeah Lowe's and HD only have the generic stuff. I was at Ranch 99 and found a bunch that just said Fragrant. But I detected zero scent from them. So I don't trust them.

If I can only get two which two would you recommend?

Cymbidium ensifolium (smells similar to Aglaia odorata) and Neofinetia falcata (coconut, jasmine, vanilla) though you might like Brassavola nodosa or one of its hybrids like 'Little Stars'. :)

You should read Fragrant Orchids: A Guide to Selecting, Growing, and Enjoying by Steven Frowine.
Then you'll really get hooked! Laugh.

No Clue, I got Sharry Baby from Lowes. I would describe it cocoa powder and vanilla scented.

Trader Joes also sell orchids too check every so often when you can because their inventory changes quite often for floral. Also they're the cheapest too! They have Sharry Baby sometimes. Who knows what else you can find there.

I checked with Green Mart, HD, Lowes, Armstrong, and Trader Joes and they don't have any.

Looks like I will have to order online. I bought two awesome pots so now I have to get two orchids for my covered patio.

I think Andy's Orchids is in Southern Cal. I've heard Dendrobium Kingianum can be grown outdoors year round in parts of California.

Thank you... I did call Andy's Orchids but they only have one of the two I wanted and the guy who answered the phone wasn't sure if it had any scent?

So weird! I guess I will have to go in person at some point when it's blooming to see.

I just bought my first Fragrant Orchid!!

Maxillaria tenuifolia from Logee's. A tiny plant I am sure... but it's supposed to smell like coconut.

Robert, they didn't have the other one you recommended so I just thought I would try this one. We will see. I have to find one more though.

Yay! I thought about that orchid when you said you liked coconut. I've seen those before at Lowe's so you never know where you might find one!
And stay off eBay if you say you can't find orchids cuz you'll find way, way too many there!
How about this one from Amazon? ;)
