Any Double Red colored like Red Volunteer?

I'm looking for a large-flowered (>6") double with a color like Red Volunteer. I saw some Highland Lords, loved the form & wire edge but the color left something to be desired. It was sort of a dull wine-brick-red. I'm looking for a much more vibrant red but without any orangey tone. Sue

Take a look at Joan Derifield, Charles Johnston, Christmas Beau and Doug Red Mercedes. Can't go wrong with any of these. Mike.

Those all have the right red color, but I'd really love a double-flowered one.

Do you have Double Red? Sounds like a possibility.
I found Transylvanian Cocktail online and would like to know if it's red on the orangey side, or a red on the blue side? Can't tell from the photos!

Yes,I have it but I am waiting for it's first bloom here.When it does,I'll post a pic for you.
