Just beautiful, bluepoppy! I am not sure I have one to rival that, but I will check tonight...

I like how the Bleeding Hearts are wrapping around your Krossa Regal.

    Here is Liberty from 6/4/07.

The way the bleeding heart flowers wrap the bottom of the Krosa Reagel is so beautiful. Love the columbine with the hostas. I hadn't thought of that so might do that in some areas of my hosta beds if you don't mind me copying you!?!

I only started adding other plants to my hostas in 2006. Before that I had nothing but the different leaf variations.

    I'm thinking SPRING!

This is a good idea. Where are some other peoples pictures? I love the bleeding hearts hugging Krossa Regal. Cowboy, has your Liberty grown much? Mine sure hasen't. Maybe this year.

Here is my favourite hosta picture and a couple of the overall garden. The fall color is amazing and sort of makes up for what is coming - WINTER.

Clever picture poppy, my guess is that Dicentra is 3-4 ft away from the Krossa and the 'trick' is all in the angle of view and shooting at a fairly wide-angle (which you did) to get them both in focus! A clever photograph like this warrants kudos! Nice going!

    Blue Poppy~
Great combo! My poor Bleeding Hearts have been savaged by voles the past two years. I get fewer flowers now, even tho' the plants are mature. Do you have a shot of the entire Dicentra in bloom?

    Cowboy~
I love the gentle combination of your pastel Columbines with Liberty. Very pleasing to the eye.

    McT~
Your GE is everything that mine isn't (just flat-out gorgeous!)

    Sugarman~
Do you clean your leaves before you take pics? They are so pristine, even the late season leaves.

This is a picture of 3 Gold Standards and astilbes after a break in a nasty rain storm. It's kind of dark, but therefore different from most of my other hosta pics. Hostas and astilbe don't get beat down by rain like lots of other plants.

Sugarman, seems that names from Sagae on should be one photo more downwards.

    Yeah, I made a small mistake ...

    Bunnycat,

I often use a small blower to clean te leaves.

Most of the pictures I'm showing here were taken on a tripod with a manual focus lens. It takes several minutes to get everything right (including composition), so better take a few seconds more to get everything completely right.
