Catch up part 12..1 new seedling

Moving right along now...The first one is a ffo seedling. It was old enough to bloom but it's pretty late. Hopefully it will continue this pattern. Never before bloomed so it has some potential, I think...Ellie

Very nice, I am having a very difficult time choosing a favorite. I love those two shots of JACQUELINE KENNEDY ONASSIS. That daylily is very pretty.

I was surprised to see your INHERATED WEALTH as its so pink. Mine is much more ivory colored and doesn't look even close to yours.

Ellie, you have so many beautiful daylilies it's hard to pick favorites. For some reason I'm drawn to the near whites today so I think I'll pick Inimitable and Isle of Dreams.
I think your seedling has definite possibilities--very pretty.

Rita, IW looks that way MOST of the bloom season. Sometimes it's a bit lighter . The color varies here I think because of my soil. It's like another I have that sometimes is almost white ( Susan Weber)but sometimes the pink is very dark.. Gathering Sunshine was (and is supposed) a very yellow. It was like that the first year I had it but this year it was a very pale pink with a golden edge. I can't figure it out. JKO, so far has been true to her color! I never tweak the color on the daylilies..However, sometimes I take labels and markers out if you can't read them..

Val, Inimitable is really a nice one. I love the near whites almost as much as the pinks.

Thanx for stopping by and commenting!!!..Ellie

Now I am sure I have to get 'How beautiful heaven must be'.
wow!!! I have a couple seedlings with it as a parent from LA seeds, and I'm very happy with them. I'm now quite sure I need it to add to my hybridizing program.
Your seedling is lovely too. I have so enjoyed your catching up pictures. You actually helped me to get an ID on one I needed to find. Thanks.

I haven't posted on all your "catch up" photos, but I'm appreciating them with the bloom season winding down up here.

I was surprised at the color of INHERITED WEALTH, too. Yours is pink, Rita says hers is ivory, and mine is definitely peach. I had no idea the color could vary that much.

I especially love Inherited Wealth, Ellie. Iron Gate Glacier is a beauty too.

Thank Nina...Was it Jim Cooper? I seem to remember someone identified a noid with that pic...

Sharon, for some reason, I can never ( until now) get a good shot of IG. I'm glad you like it...

Chris, mine isn't always that pink.. Sometimes it's lighter but it has never been peach yet. Sometimes it's a little on the lav side of pink. All I can think is the soil is so different. My soil is terrible, mostly sand in some beds and clay in others. Go figure!!

Kay, it took me awhile to identify IGG. When I bought it from a friend, I did not keep up with the names. She is very old now and doesn't remember...anyway, what's really neat about this daylily is that it's so late in my garden. It's just now putting up a rebloom scape..

    Thanx you all...Ellie
