The thrips or some critter seem to like this one. This is the only really decent bloom I had on PMFM.. It had plenty of blooms but no good ones.

I love these critters..

Nice Ps! I especially like Peace Be Still. Is that a new one for you? I've not seen it before.

Lots of pretty ones. I love the flower of PRAIRIE FIRE. I like the color and eye. But PEACE BE STILL most deffinately takes the favorite award. I love the group shot, just a fabulous picture. I love bi-tones (don't have enough of them) and its such a pretty one. Definately my favorite of the batch :-))

    Debra,
They are all beauties, but I like Peace Be Still the best. I am so jealous of your Pirate King. Mine is a reddish color, and so recurved it is not nearly so pretty as yours. I'll give mine another year, and if it isn't better, it won't make it.

    Todays bloom, for example:

Well, you certainly have some beauties today.PEACE BE STILL is gorgeous..I could have done without the critter. They give me goose bumps.I kill every one I see if I can.I would have heart failure if one of them jumped on me.Ugly things.

Chris, this is the 2nd blooming time I have had with it. I posted pic last year. I got it fall before last, 07' I think...

Sharon, I think PBS will be a fav of everyone. It's a beauty. PAG is a beauty two but I wasn't home for shots of multiples. Too bad cause it sure was pretty..

Rita, I though as much. Prarie Fire was really pretty this year though...

Kay, I think yours is really pretty. Is it always that red? That is really unusual because it's supposed to be purple. Maybe it's the soil that makes the difference..

Jean, they are wonderful for your garden. They eat larger insects and I have never had one jump on me. They are very shy with people. They try to stay away from you..

    Thanks for you comments ladies...Ellie

Yes Ellie, the supposed to be purples are usually more red than purple. It is pretty in its own way, but I wanted purple! (Sound about two years old, don't I?)

Love PANDORA'S BOX AND CHICAGO KNOBBY together, very well matched. PEGGY BASS has such a nice color. And I had to laugh when I got to the Praying Mantis. Totally unexpected! Nice touch.

Kay, you can see if it's your soil. Use a large pot and fill it with potting soil and keep it in there until it blooms. Maybe it will be purple. Don't sulk now,(kidding) just try that for a year and see!! Hehehe!!

Haha Vickie! There is a daylily there though I don't know which one. I like CK but don't care much for Pandora's Box.. I love Peggy Bass. I think she's beautiful. I'm glad you like her too!!..

    Thank you both....Ellie

Peace Be Still is absolutely gorgeous my favorite by far, and it's available from Sunset Meadow Daylily Farm, but I think I'll wait just a year or two for the price to go down.

Peacock Maiden and Pink Panopoly are nice, too.

Sharon, I see you are playing catch up too.. PBS is a wonderful dl. You cannot go wrong with her. I have had PP for several years and she is a good one. She is in continual bloom after the first bloom opens. I ahven't had PM very long so I don't know much about her yet...Thanks for looking at the threads...Ellie
