Wonderful pictures again Ricky. You and Karen look like you are having a GREAT time. The flowers that caught my eye are reddish brown and the picture is right under Karen's. Those flowers are really unusual. The rest are beautiful and that opal, oh my. The critters cute.

DH was wondering what kangaroo tasted like.

Incredible photos! What camera are you using? I noticed in several shots a tallish tree covered with lavender blooms. Is it a Jacaranda? (it's been over 30 years since I've actually seen one in bloom!) And the bush (?) with the flower-like black leaves is wild! Did you catch its name? cora

What is the tree just under the Royal Botanical Gardens sign? It looks like it's covered with something?

Jacaranda everywhere and all in bloom along with Royal Poinciana that we see in bloom in June and September. Down under they call it the Christmas tree because it blooms this time of the year.

The 'tree' under the Royal Botanic sign are wire topiaries under construction.
