Why no color to humming bird food

Hello,

Happy Shark Week!

I love these message boards on here. Why no red color to humming bird nectar? I'm just curious. Just wondering. Thank you.

And I've definitely been eyeing that man-made humming bird nest. I might try it out.

Take care!
