When I got these from CA I put them outside for summer- and stored in the basement for winter and happily bloomed as a houseplant the next spring. Afterwards, when the weather was warm I put them outside for the summer and fall and again stored in the basement for winter.

Sadly they only had foliage and no blooms this spring. I'm wondering what conditions I need to change to bring them into bloom?

I have heard from 2 other gardeners-- even in warmer climates than my own that they had similar results. Bloomed once then foliage.

Surely there must be some way to ge them to bloom here. Anyone had success with these in a colder climate than zone 9- 10 CA? Any tricks I should try?

I really loved the blooms. But if I can't get them I might as well trade them out.
