How about Olga Petryszyn's G's, all new to me this year. They all seem to be handling this extreme heat!

Great Plains. I had to drive 320 miles to get this hard to find hosta. A mature division, it's almost three feet tall.

Gone with the Wind and Gitchigum. I only had to drive 60 miles for these. They were both released in 2010, so these were small tissue culture plants. Not much growth this year, but they don't get much sun. They'll both be moved next year to beds where they can get more sun and have room to grow.

Golden Gate. Grown in deep shade with only dappled sun, it lost it's gold. It's still a bright spot in a dark area.

Grand Canyon (with Great Expectations in the background). This one gets morning sunlight and some dappled afternoon sun. I think it will actually take more sun than its getting.

Green with Envy, new last year, one of the fastest growing hostas in my garden

I think the all green version of Guacamole is called Fried Green Tomatoes. Perhaps that is what your Green Guacamole is?

After viewing the F's, I was going to post that I think those were some of my favorite hosta and I would now be looking to for hosta beginning with F. Now you have me drooling over the G's. I love all the photos everyone posts. It is like taking a daily garden walk Kathy

Paul, what is that last one you posted with the unique puckering on the outer edges? That one is COOL!

Karen, those are both Golden Meadows - top is early this spring and bottom is recent.

I am still a newbie, but I've never seen one change that much in a season. Neat! I'll have to add that one to my list!!

Keana has already shown us a beautiful Gold Standard, above, but perhaps you won't mind another. The late-summer version (pic taken today) gives us that wonderful parchment look. Mine is a mature plant (about 8 years old), four feet across, and like a torch burning at the far end of my garden.

A monster. That's Alvatine Taylor at the bottom right a big plant in itself.
