I'm hoping to put my Oriole feeders (liquid and orange halves) out this week. The weather is so crazy, but I would rather be a bit early than miss the OrioleâÂÂs.

I go by the weather for hanging the hummingbird feeders out. However, itâÂÂs usually by the first of May at home (twin cities) and shortly there-after up at the lake.

We have hummers that hang around year-round (PNW) but I think you could never be too early in hanging feeders. Other birds, such as warblers, will also enjoy the nectar.

Thanks. We got the hummer feeders up yesterday but the oriole nectar feeder came apart when being cleaned so will get that and some oranges up asap.
Still recovering fm a couple of surgeries so I'm 'instructing' my wonderful spouse who is taking up my slack.
