That is a big pepper, I have had some large ones, but I have never put one on the scales.

Quick question, in another picture you have some hot peppers. One of them looks like a White habanero. Do you have white habaneros? If so, would you be willing to harvest a bunch and ship them to me? Our plants died in the seedling stage and I wasn't able to get them started again as I was out of seed. Let me know.

on those white habs, I'm not totally sure they'll come true anymore from seed. We don't have a lot of honey bees around here anymore, but now we have an overabundance of bumblebees, and they are on those peppers every time I'm picking. I'm afraid they would probably be crossed since I only have 2 plants of each kind and about 20 different kinds in the hot pepper row. those bumblebees are even on the tomato blooms when i'm picking out there, and I'm wondering about saving seed from my heirlooms anymore.

I forgot to add, I got the white habanero seed originally from hazzardsgreenhouse.com, and it doesn't cost much.

Thanks for responding, I was more interested in the peppers themselves. I want to make a pepper jelly i call white lightning. It uses the white habaneros and white bell peppers.

Tomatoes growers has the white habanero seeds too.

It was a bell pepper called Jackpot hybrid by park seed. They don't even carry it anymore. I got it on clearance sale for 99 cents for a pack of 15 0r 20 seeds. I'm going to contact them to see if they might reconsider carrying this one though. I can't find it anywhere. I only have like one more packet left.

I grew the heaviest pepper ever officially weighed in 2012. It weighed 1lb 5.89 oz or 620.57 grams. I didn't have the $10,000 needed to come have guinness weigh it.

you didnt have to pay 10,000. you just had to have it officially weighed at an event, on a certified scale with statements from expert and credible witnesses. Mine was the Minnetrista farmers market.
