Karla 's (The Hosta Lady of Anoka) sale! My Haul!!

I schlepped my tail from Lakeville to Anoka to Karla's(klas8405) big sale. Some of you have referred to her as the "Hosta Lady of Anoka". It was an hour and 15 minutes one-way, but worth the trip! My 2-year old even had fun!

What a great haul! I know her sale is to go on for another couple days and then again next weekend, I think. But I don't know if she's still shipping or not. It's worth the trip if you can make it. Email me if you'd like her info (I hope that's ok Karla!). ThisIsMelissa@hotmail.com

WOW, Melissa what a haul. And they look like gorgeous specimens. I would be envious, but I'm in the process of trying to plant 20 Hosta in pure clay on hills, and with these rains (NOT COMPLAINING MIND YOU), I can barely cling to the hillside, and my shoes are so full of the clay that I can't lift one foot nor the other. Have fun planting :o). Mary

Yes, beautiful hostas. I went to Karla's and came home with a batch just that big last year. The hostas were beautiful, Karla's place a joy to visit, and it was just a great day. Hosta lady of Anoka fits :-)

Nice haul Melissa, I was wondering how your trip to Karla's sale went. From your list and pictures it went very well. I can hear T-Rex calling my name, but he's going to have to wait a couple of years until we're ready to build. No more room for the big guys.
