Performance of any plant that needs to be potted on will fall off. Otherwise, this species blooms abundantly in full, blazing southern or tropical sun where grown outdoors yearround. Don't think you can give it too much light exposure.

It has been twenty years since I lived and gardened in Phoenix but I remember from my job at a garden center that they actually bloom better when rootbound.

Depending on how old it is, it may not be of blooming age or size yet.

Do not fertilize during the winter and reduce watering also.

When outdoors in the sun and actively growing it should be fertilized regularly.

I read it that it had been blooming, but fell down on the job last year.
