The NWS office in Amarillo has issued a Fire Weather Watch for the Oklahoma panhandle counties and adjancent portions of other states for Wednesday afternoon (and also for Thursday, which was mentioned in the other fire weather thread). Jay, this includes you too up there in SW KS.

Critical Fire Weather conditions are likely so you mqy see a Red Flag Fire Warning issued.
