This is another one of those ones that I found difficult to photo!
It has too many focus areas and some part always tries to blur.
I didn't have time to take a photo the first day. Later, that evening, I went to look at it and it was wilted and had closed up.
I thought that was it and I had missed my chance. The next morning...it was open and just as perky!
It's a Dendrobium relative from Papua New Guinea.
It grows high in the cloud forests between 3000ft and 3900ft(1000 and 1300 meters.)
It's a first time blooming and the flower is about 1" (2.5 cm), maybe a little bigger!
