The storms that entered western OK have moved into much of central Oklahoma and you can see if they're near you on the radar linked below.

They're all going just barely north of us, but we did have about 10 raindrops fall a few minutes ago. I was hoping for more rain than that to fall and water the yard and garden, but it looks like "passover" for us.

I just came in from finishing up the broccoli harvest. While I was out there a little gust front blew through and the temperature dropped 14 degrees in just a couple of minutes. It felt pretty nice out there at that point! I was expecting it based on what I'd seen earlier on radar....and the wind had completely stopped blowing about an hour before, so I knew that was the "calm before the storm".

A big severe storm line that is down around Abilene is expected to hit the Fort Worth to Ardmore area right along I-35 between 6 and 7 pm, so get ready everyone. I'm watching the Weather Channel right now and this line of storms is showing rapid acceleration.

Well, I need to run back out and finish pulling the weeds that were hiding under those big old broccoli plants.

The rain has hit here (8 miles east of OK,AR. line and 15 miles south of Ft. Smith). We were to have 60 MPH wind.
We have had strong wind but so far I think it is much less than 60 MPH.

Looks like the rain is about over, we had about 15 or 20 min. worth, not near enough, but still coming down. I hope it rains like this all night. Larry

I think rainfall here in our region only comes in two amounts: "not enough" or "too much". I wonder why?

Hey, Larry, I'm just south of you a bit and we got maybe 1/2" here (will have to check in the daylight tomorrow) with a lot of wind. Pretty sure I heard a bit of hail, too, but not for long.
