Ebay if safe to buy, but remember the shipping cost from Thailand is bit much because the item has to have Phytosanitary certificate. All other things add up and could be expensive. Also the shipping takes forever to get here.

I agree, I ordered something from Thailand once and it took about a month to get here (May 11-June 12th)! Also, the tracking numbers they give you cannot be tracked by USPS. It was a ring I bought for my sister.

The seller anyamanee_p has a very good reputation, but she doesn't ship cuttings to California because of the high rate of confiscation by our Customs officials.

I seem to remember there's a cutting size limit as well, per Customs.

Find out the exact shipping cost before you order - one seller wanted to charge $15 to send an envelope of seeds!

I have never understood why people in the US buy from ebay. I live in the UK and do not have much choice as we dont have a lot of nurseries but in the US you have 100's so why take the chance when you can buy quality plants at cheap prices and have them shipped from your own country with no customs problems.

I dont have any nursuries that sell plumerias here because I live in a zone 7 so most people dont know about plumerias so I get all my plumerias off ebay or online nursuries, but I havent ever bought one out of the country. If I buy them in the US I dont have to worry about customs or problems with the seller, or a long shipping wait (when your waiting for a plumeria to come a week can feel like a month so I cant imagine how long a month feels like!!)
