Best boom stage is past. Still have few hundreds in bloom.

There's loads of nurseries in Homestead but many are wholesale. The majority of my DH's FL suppliers are there. The only one I can think of offhand is Costa. If you are going to be driving near Ft. Lauderdale there's a place called Butterfly World in Coconut Creek. They have some beautiful enclosed tropical gardens filled with butterflies, hummingbirds and lorakeets and some nice outdoor gardens as well.

Carol does the shipping, I try to graft them fast enough for her. Your plant was grafted in Thailand, they use the V graft.

Nice to chat with you again, I was on the Florida board for awhile. Just ordered about 5 of your plants, all doing really well, magnus opus, california sally, another aztec gold, couple more.. Your plants grow very well and healthy..My 3 yr old aztec gold is blooming.

You said when you get a plant that has been grafted..is like getting a 2 year old plant?? is that correct?

Enjoy Florida. I love to go down there, rent a car and just drive -- along the coasts, to Sarasota, wherever. If you haven't been, you might consider Marie Selby garden in Sarasota. It's not real big, but it's kinda nice. Also Fairchild in Miami.

Hey Luc! Don't want to monopolize this thread, but I have a Cooktown Sunset from you all that is getting rather tall and lanky. Does this one root OK? I need to trim it back.

Selby Gardens is a good suggestion, it's nicely done and a pleasant place to visit. Plumeria Gallery is in Naples, I've never been there but I've bought some things from her and they've always grown well.

I haven't been to Michael's Bromeliads yet in Venice but I've heard good things about it. http://www.michaelsbromeliads.com/

Just driving around and looking at what people have planted in their yards is always fun too, especially on the barrier islands. You'll be amazed at the size of some of the plumerias.

I think I need to get in the car and go to some of these places too!

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I will have to see what I can fit in and how much my wife and kids will tolerate of my plumie gawking! LOL! Fortunately, they actually love them too, so we should be OK. :)
