Do you have a picture? Is it a reddish brown type of color or a red/red color?

I have grown them but I do not recall them turning red before brown. They just turned green to brown.

Hi Tim,

I seen the video, and noticed the one you pointed out as a chocolate Hab with the color changing to red. I grew chocolate Habs and mine went from green to brown. Unless you have a cross of some sort you may have a pods that go from green to red then brown but most likely a red Hab. But all in all it's a pepper plant that looks great and producing pods!

I have chocolate Hab seeds if you want me to send you any shoot me an email, I will send you some for you to grow next season.

Thanks guys. I was afraid that's what you guys were going to say. I was just going to buy some, but I may just take you up on that offer Mark. I have one that's red, that almost looks like it's getting darker. I'll keep an eye on it, but it's probably just wishful thinking. It's just frustrating because that's one of my better looking plants.

They were chocolate pepper plants. Not sure what is going on.

my chocolate habs have always gone from green to brown. No hint of red.
