I submitted mine: Rainbird, Biker Billy, Hungarian Wax, Poblano, Chimayo. I'm raising several new ones (to me) this year, so my list may change at the end of the summer.

Haven't grown many, but I'll be growing mucho nacho again next year. Probably Biker Billy and a few other Jals as well.

Its interesting to see people's lists. Even more interesting to think about whether there's much value in getting really specific about variety of each type. Should we just write 'Jalapeno' or should we say 'Ixtapa Jalapeno' vs. 'Chichimeca Jalapeno', etc.

I guess for most purposes, esp. guiding beginners a general list is more useful, but I'm guessing that many people on this list would like to see even more specific favorites listed.

In that vein, here's my current list:

Jalapeno 'Chichimeca'
Paprika Supreme
Golden Cayenne
Ancho 'San Martin'
Spanish Spice

Actually, pepperdude, I think a more specific list might be better as a reference for beginners. Before I started growing, I had no idea what specific plants to go for. I could have really used more specific ideas before my first growing adventure.

Thanks for all the input! I was just making the list for beginners to make it easy. There are a lot of different names out there.

I just wanted to say thanks to all who submitted their favorite hot peppers on my website. The list looks good and makes me want to grow more next year.
