What is on your Christmas Wish List?

Hello Everyone,

I was just thinking about everyone's wish list that they may have for this year!!

My "wishes" for this spring are just a few...

With the holidays being so close and will be here before we know it..I wanted first of all to say..

Merry Christmas to all of you here!!!

I hope you all enjoy the season of "giving" and to remember that its really about being with the "ones you love.." and enjoying the time together...

My holiday will be a special time because of all of the wonderful people in my life, family, friends and those who are close to my heart!!! I am truly.."thankful.."

Alright, I know that this is a touchy, gray area for somee...esspecially with spouses with "EYE ALLERGIES..." LOL...but, I have to wonder what is on your "Wish List..."

Do you all have some special Plumeria that you just have to have?

Something that is already on the tip of your fingers when Jon can ship it out? Carol? LOL...

Here are a few trees that i know will be heading to VB this spring...

JJ Orange

Victoria Princess

San Miguel

What are yours?

Take care everyone!!

Merry Christmas!!!

Laura

Merry Christmas Laura. I hope things are well with your ongoing ventilation battle in your greenhouse. Plumerias are hypoallergenic. Just ask anyone else on this forum.

After reading post after post about "Psycho" I think I'll look for one of those.

Merry Christmas to you Laura and everyone else.

Well what would be on my list if I have any $$ left, kids stuff comes first, would be any plumeria that wasnt white, LOL. I also have a few citrus and mango trees that would be on that list.

    plumeria

inca or aztec gold and Aussie Confetti or Bill moragne would be nice too.

Merry Christmas everyone! This spring I definitely plan on getting a larger plumeria obtusa, maybe one that is old enough to bloom this summer. The one I have is just a small seedling and is far from blooming.
My Plumeria Pudica never recovered from the root damage when it had to be dug out of the ground, so I think I will get a new one this spring as well. They are really nice plumerias that I recommend for sure, even though there is no fragrance.
And Im going to try and get plumerias with more colors. More yellows, reds, and things like that!

Right now my plumerias wont go dormant. They keep on trying to grow new leaves and I really havent been watering at all. But whatever keeps them happy is fine with me!

Merry Christmas to you too Laura, as well as everyone else
    out there.

We've had Christmas decorations up since mid-November, both
inside and out. We had to since our home was part of
of a home tour that was on Nov 20. I put some pictures
on Photobucket in case anyone's interested.

Today, my wife, who dearly loves Christmas, said she was
about ready to take everything down.

My Chrismas wish could only be more room for Plumerias.

But since I know that's not going to happen, I guess I'll
call the new camera I just bought a wish fulfilled.

I bought it because my old camera packed up a few
days ago. So I guess my wish is really that my old
    camera hadn't bit the dust.

    Mine?

Is that you are happy and that your mom and children are doing very well.
I wish that you get your cooking finsihed so that you can finally settle in and relax.
I wish that you could finally find a way to keep all your babies happy in your greenhouse with proper ventilation:-)

I never really ever have a list since it is nice people like you and another here that make it impossible to think of one with your continual generousity throughout the year.

Many hugs and much love to you my Mom and I Laura.

    Mike:-)

    Hello Everyone,

Sounds like we all have been busy!!! : )

    K,

I really am glad to hear that Plumeria are hypoallergenic!!! LOL...now i can tell the DH thats it is truly not the Plumeria that is causing the "eye roll.." LMAO. Maybe, its a "winter thing.." LOL... Seriously, i did the dance yesterday when i brought in another cutting from a friend when we had lunch! I thought that i was quick enough to place it upstairs with all of the other gems..but i was caught in the act.. : ) Its a good thing that it was small!! Thanks Peg!!

Psycho is a wonderful choice, im sure you will have great success in finding a cutting!! : )

    Mike,

I know what you mean about all of the $ going for the kids, just wait until they get older...the price of each item only gets bigger!!! My kids are all grown and will be here for CHristmas, im looking forward to a fun and relaxing time with them. Enjoy your little ones..they sure do grow up way to fast!!! : )

Colors are a wonderful thing... Im sure you will have a few colors in your spring collection...

    Have a wonderful Christmas!!!

    Alex,

I sure hope that your Pudica will turn around for you!!!

How has your weather been up north?

Sounds like your Plumies want to stay active...

The ones that i have under lights and the ones just sitting in my great room are doing well. They are all still happy and with most of their leaves. I am just letting them do what they want. It is very interesting to see how all of the different varieties react to winter. Some are ready to rest, others dont want to be silent at all. I will just listen to what they want to do.

I agree with wanting more colors... I also forgot to mention that California Sally is another "wish..."

Nice to see you, how are your Palms doing, have you put up any protection yet?

    Qaguy,

Love all of the pictures!!! You have certainly been busy!!
All of your decorations look wonderful. I hope you are having a great turnout for your charity!! What a great way to help out..You and your wife have done a great job.
I can undertand that she is ready to take it all down since you started in Nov. My tree is up, lights are on...but the ornaments will be on soon. Maybe tomorrow...

Glad to hear you have a new camera. The old ones sure are easy to use, especially when you have had them for awhile...

    Mike,

I dont know what to say, Thank you for that special post!

You have truly warmed my heart... Thank you!!!

    I am very happy.. : )
My kids are doing well, Hubby has new "eye drops" LOL...
Really, he is doing great and so is my Mom!! Thanks for your concern...

The greenhouse will be fixed, hopefully soon. It has been a problem, but i have had some wonderful help!!!

The baking is mostly done, and now i am ready to relax. I do have time off for the holidays and i am really enjoying the time with my family and with the joy of what Christmas brings...

You have always been so generous as well, thank you for all that you do. I know that someone else has been a big help to you here on this forum. Very kind and generous as well! : )

    Thank you for everything Mike!!!

    Merry Christmas to you all..

    Hi all,

I'm pretty satisfied with my plumeria collection right now. My wish is for 'more time to take care of them!' LOL! I have some serious root pruning to do this spring. Will probably have to take time off from work to get it done.

It's been a tough year in some ways -- two tropical storms (water in basement), and earthquake, loved ones passing, colleague at work passing. But we're counting our blessings. My family is healthy and my Father-in-law will be spending his first Christmas with us (without his dear wife).

And it's our little Katie's 3rd Christmas, so much of the attention will be directed toward her!

    Happy Christmas everyone.

    LOL..Hey Peg,

Im not worried when he see me bringing in new trees.

Its only when i need to ask for help to lift the big ones from the car that i get the "LOOK" lol....

This summer, a very nice person gave me a Miami Rose. It was so big and healthy, i new it was going to be a "eye roller" the good thing is that he new that i was coming home with this baby. He just didnt know how large it was. He really is good with my addictions... I just remind him of what he brings into the house.. : )

Your little one that you gave to me is doing great, thank you so much!!! : )

    Bear,

I love red Plumies too! I think we would all like to have one added to the list!! I would!!

    Dave,

I understand about the time... Root pruning will be on my list of things to do this spring. Most of my large trees will be having this done.

Sorry to hear of the troubles this year, I have had my share as well. ALl we can do it to count our blessings and to be thankful for our loved ones and our family and friends. Enjoy yor CHristmas with your father-in-law, what a wonderfull way to spend CHristmas with being in the company of your family and your beautiful daughter.

CHristmas is all about the children...Enjoy!!! Thank you for the cute pics of Katie...she is such a beautiful Angel!!! Hope your Christmas is blessed with much joy and happiness...

    Merry Christmas everyone!
My wishlist will be short as my plants are beginning to get taller and I am beginning to worry where I will put them all when they are big. I guess I'll have to be very selective next year.
Minderella, I had the same problem last winter. So when I checked on my cuttings in the spring and found almost no roots, I just planted them in my flowerbeds and, voila, all of them rooted and are doing well.
Hate to rush, but I just got back from my trip to Germany, have some houseguests and I'm way behind with my Christmas preparations. Love and peace and and a relaxing, enjoyable Christmas with family, friends and loved ones to you all.

Merry Christmas Everyone! I'm new to this forum, mostly hang out over at the Brugmansia forum. I'm new to Plumerias- don't have any yet, but would love to try anything with fragrance. If anyone cares to trade for my brugmansias, I have a web store with 43 varieties and a few other tropicals, that I'd love to trade for this spring.
feel free to check it out-
    www.gardensbykasha.ecrater.com
I'll be reading up on them here to get my knowledge up to speed!
    Thanks!
