Carla, these are just beautiful, great photography and obviously great gardener and camera. You did GREAT. I love your sisters, Westerland and Autumn Sunset -- quite the pair. Johnson's Blue -- need more of them -- I love that plant!

Jean, thank you. Yes, Westerland is that orange but it does fade a little. You need one, everyone who likes orange should have one.

Carla--what lovely roses and pics! Obviously you have done a better job mastering your new camera than I have on mine. (Sigh).

    Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful blooms, Carla, and great pictures! I love the form of Jude the Obscure (and the name). I love the striped ones, 4th of July and Rainbow. I can't grow teas here, it's too cold, but I have Honorine de Brabant, a striped bourbon, that looks similar. I thought I had bought FoJ 2 years ago but it was mislabeled and is some all red climber that I haven't been able to ID yet. Thanks for sharing your lovely first blooms. It was a thrill for us too.

    Beautiful Carla!!

Things here are just starting to open. Its been a long wait. I think I will grab the camera this weekend as my garden can't be far behind yours!!

I can't wait for my Westerland to bloom. I was so enabled over the last 2 years.

    :o)

Gorgeous roses, Carla. Love that Westerland ! I was enabled here too, on that one, and it's a good thing !

Carla - I remember seeing your posts during our NC "freeze". I'm smiling lately too. Lots of blooms to brighten my day.

Yours are beautiful! Nice shot of a little bee too!

Nancy, I don't know yet how I feel about Perdita. Poor thing I've had her forever and she spent a good part of her life in a pot. I'm testing her in the ground. She doesn't thrill me yet.
Ronda, thank you. I know you must have roses now!
    Carol, thank you.
Kate, I'm anxious to see what's in your garden now.
Violet, nice to see you here and thank you for looking.
Seil, thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. I'm an amateur but aspire to take good photos. There are some very talented people on these forums who take excellent photos.

Beth, thank you. You are very kind. I sometimes get "lucky" with some good photos.

Carla, thank you for lovely pictures!! Jude the Obscure is one of my favorites, but all the pics are great.

I think you mixed up two roses: Jubilee Celebration and Crown Princess Margareta.
I think yours is Jubilee Celebration.

Carla, your roses are gorgeous! I really like Autumn Sunset and all those curlyQ things going on. It's one of the prettiest colors too.

Thank you Michelle, I love those yellows and oranges!
Susan, I consider quite a compliment coming from you. Thank you. I would love to see some of your beautiful garden.

Wonderful roses. You had to wait a long time for them this year, because of that freeze...must have been disappointing. But now the celebration can begin.

My Perdita has improved a lot now that it is more mature. I wish it had a bit more fragrance but it's become very reliable. I love the brilliant orange of your Westerland.

Thank you Hoov. I wish Perdita had more fragrance too but I've got others for that I guess.
Hoov, the freeze is just a memory. Thanks to the thrips and beetles, everything is not a celebration. I keep threatening DH that I'm going to move somewhere without insects!!
