Well I found out who was sending to me today and wow was I suprised! mgood4u I was still upset that I didn't get any lady slippers but thats ok...lol. I got a peony and two hostas, some bee balm, and a bird nester. That alone would have made me happy as I have all of those plants and love them all so adding them to different gardens will be great. Then she sent me a bunch of other plants that I don't know what are but recognize the names of a few. I love unknown things. For my treat she must be spying on me, as I shut my curtains because reeses pieces are my all time favorite candy! I love the peanut butter! I just opened my boxes today and had to put up the bird nester and I hope that humming bird chooses it to live in as they are just starting to show up in town here. I saw my first one two days ago near the post office and yesterday I saw one at my feeder. Oh yeah she sent some seeds too but I havn't looked at them yet! Thank you mgood4u!

Julus--Glad you liked your stuff! I got myself one of those bird nesters to. They were to cute to pass up. And I haven't gotten the pleasure of seeing a Hummingbird, but my son and hubby saw one by our back deck twice. I hung me nest out there so maybe this one will live in mine! Glad you like the candy and if you have any questions about the plants I sent I will be happy to give you some more info. I wish I could've sent you lady slippers! I am assuming that the other box didn't come with it? It figures because that was the PRIORITY box! lol. Go figure. Well, they were both mailed priority but one was in a brown box and the other is the actual PO 's priority box! Geez--keep me posted on box #2 - please. I have DC#'s if you need for it. Oh yeah, here's a tip. Sometimes plants like lilac and Wisteria will get a moldy white fungus covering their leaves. I heard that spraying them with whole milk a few times a week will clear that up & cinnamon keeps ants away--I just learned this myself!

Uh-oh! I was wondering where this box was from! I got two boxes? How did that happen? YIKes! I thought maybe it was from my other 12 month exchange swap!

Carmen, was it you who sent me all the cinnoman candies, gum, notepads (which are super cute-one looks like a bis asparagus!) , awesome seeds, plants -I can ID one as Ivy, but I need to know what the other one is! It looks great! How sweet of you! You must have known I need some antifrizz and control for my hair--in the heat especially! I got some Dove hair stuff samples. And how did you know I have a herniated disk and MAJOR sciatica problems! I got a back massager--how cool is that! Thank you Carmen! Loved it! And let me know what that plant is! I'm eating the candy now--so are the kids! I always gotta share! lol.

Four ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL tapestry placemats for my diningroom table. I wish I could take a picture of them!!!
They are burgundy with the tuscan fruits and symbols on them, that just happen to match the interior of my house decor PERFECTLY!!!!
Also included...... an intricately detailed polystone garden scene which holds a sturdy thermometer! I just love it!!!
Also, (yes, there's more!) A hand crafted toad stool, and a beautiful!!!! butterfly, also handcrafted, by our very own Ms. Joyce herself, garden decor! Very, very pretty! I am going to display these where everyone cansee and enjoy them!

Dear Aurore, Thank you for the awesome box of goodies. It was here when I got home from school. Believe me it really lifted my spirits today. Had kind of a bummer of an afternoon. But I am fine now. I feel like I am in daylily heaven--an early growing orange daylily and a later growing orange daylily. Plus a red daylily. PLUS a yellow daylily. Also in the box was some red monarda. It's not on my "want" list because I just don't think of it at the time, but I HAVE been wanting some. What a mindreader you are!!! Another package in the big box were some caladium bulbs. This is something else I don't have, and I just can't wait to grow them. When I see them at different places I always think they are so beautiful. Now I can have some in my own flower gardens. I will get these all planted yet this evening. Aurore also sent seeds!! swan gourd, yellow oenethera, sweet william, white money plant, and dark blue columbine. I will be trying them all! Thank you so much! There is still more--you are so generous, Aurore. The Uncle Sam is just the cutest thing. Did you make it by chance? I just love it! AND, all of the tags you put on each bagged item was decorated so patriotically. What a clever idea. And the cookies? Have you had them before? I hadn't til now? They..are..de-li-cious!!! Folks, there are 4 cookies in a package called Hershey's with almonds. They are milk chocolate cookies dipped in chocolate with chocolate creme and almonds inside. To DIE for! I had to chuckle at your clematis tip, Aurore. My luck is the same as yours. Zip! Well, Aurore, somehow thanks just doesn't cover my gratitude for all of this. Please know that I am very, very appreciative of all that you sent, and I will be enjoying it all and will think of you when I see the plants grow and when Uncle Sam comes out on patriotic holidays. Tina girlllllll you cleaned up!!!! Okay here's what my wonderful pal sent. She sent me some chives, spearmint,peppermint, sedum, lime thyme which smells so good!!! and some peanuts. My daughter has been munching on the peanuts as I am allergic to them and boy has she enjoyed them. She always enjoys when I get boxes cause you steals things. Grinning. Pal I hope I didn't forget anything. I planted the thyme today and hope to get the two mints out tonight crossing fingers. Anxious to see what the mints are like and how the thyme does. I have some chocolate mint seeds and want to plant those along with these as everyone tells me they smell like peppermint patty. Yummmm and no calories either.

Well, Mine came today after a long strssful morning preparing for tomorrows big B-day Party, My son's 3rd. I got a note to go by th post office that I had 2 pkgs there. I got 2 huge boxes the first box was a box full of different mints from a trade and the second was really heavy and was addressed to me and Dalton so We opened it and In it we found 2 bags of Famous Amos Chocolate chip cookies, 2 bags of sweet and salty trail mix, a bag of hersheys mini chocolate bars. Dalton Got a little tikes minin rake and Chick that dances. I got a vanilla scented candle and A manicure set ( I have been needing one for Dalton and I especially the mini brush) Then to top things off I got Yellow Gold daylily, Gladiolus mix and A canna Unknown color. And a dark purple iris. I was so happy I'm sure the mail lady tought I have been looking at her like a dog looking at a bone (DROOLING!) Dalton wanted to know how she knew it was his b-day. Whoever you are you made our day. The cookies are great I snuck a few. Thank you Thank you and thank you to Julus for hosting I loved it Look forward to the next one. Now off to wrapping presents and planting.

Looking at my records Tensatottie isn't supposed to send to anyone....hum I wonder how that slipped by me...I show that Mgood4u is supposed to mail to carmen-in-texas, and she mailed to me, so in a way if you mailed to carmen and me, if you did, then getting two packages would be fair. Looking at my records everone should still get a package as long as this happened. I guess I must have messed up on purpose knowing that my person was Mgood4u.....how funny is that! The mystery plant in Vinca--it's an evergreen here in TX and had purple flowers.

If you haven't eaten all your cinnamon candies ---heat apple juice and melt them in the apple juice--makes a great hot punch for parties esp. if you add a little liquor.

My thought on the gum was for those days when you're in the garden all day. The notepad was just too cute to pass up.

All The sun from intense gardening is hard on your hair--so i thought of the conditioner ...LOL

And the massager is for your kids to use on your back after a loooong hard day of weeding the "beds"

No, I didn't send a box to Carmen. I was sent Carmens info though. I didn't know what to do because I knew I already was sending to Julus---but I didn't think he knew I was. So, I emailed hummingbirddaisy to see what I should do. If I remember correctly she told me to forward Carmens info to her so she could pass it to the next person. Then she forwarded Julus' info to me. But, no one ever said I was sending 2 boxes. That was as much of a surprise as getting 2 boxes--lol. I was really confused about the a sends to b send to c and so on. So, I just kinda went with the flow of things. If no one sent to Carmen or is planned to send then I would be more than happy to send her a box also! No problem ---except one. She probably won't get it until the end of this week or more likely the middle of the following week. (like 2 wks.) But I can hurry it as best as I can. Let me know.

What fun this is. I picked up the package on Friday and made myself wait until I got home to open it. Boy was that hard...kept looking at it driving home but you know that stickum' on those boxes is just too good. So in the end I had to wait.

From Glassmouse I received...blue columbine and blackberry lily( I can't wait to see the pods you describe). Some crisp apple cookies (dieting now but hid them from the family so as soon as I'm off I can have them with some tea)mmmmm. A wonderful hanging glass heart with some pressed flowers in the middle glass. (did you make this???) Some great gardeners soap, can always use that as I have a hard time getting the hands looking clean. I work with mothers and babies and am very self-conscious about my hands after gardening.

And the tip I like the best, sorry to my buddy I forgot...
"It's your garden- just do whatever you want to do" I'm with you on the birkenstocks in the snow :)

Tell your hubby they have an annual run here in Sept. to honor "Pre" and I've run it a few times it's a 10K. My oldest actually ran it this year. It follows what was his training route. Road running with some good hills...ie: agony hill.

We've had storms and rain for the last several days --Couldn't get any yard work in other than sprigging St Augustine in the side yard---OUr neighbor had trimmed up the edge of her diveway and sidewalks--and was throwig away 4 big boxes of great looking grass---So hubby and the kids have been "planting" grass between showers...The rain saved me from having to water....LOL

I sent mine and think it was received but the names have been changed...maybe to protect the innocent. LOL We're out of town (actually the state). My mom is suppose to grab my box and plant anything that needs to be planted. I'll post when I get back from vacation to thank my secret pal.

I received my package yesterday from hummingbirddaisy. She sent me a orange hibiscus,which I have always wanted, a sansevieria"Black Coral",a beautiful red lily, and a Choo Choo Train hosta. I have been outside all day picking just the right spot to plant them. She also knew that I liked anything tropical so she also sent a tray,pitcher ,and 4 glasses with beautiful tropical flowers on them, a bag of tropical flavored lifesavers, and a box of herbal teas. I received a wonderful box while I was away on vacation from Indyjoy. It was definitely one of the best boxes I've ever gotten! WOW! I've already got the plants outside so I don't have them handy. BUT she sent some wonderful plants and bulbs. She also sent me four 4th of July type bags with a "bomb" and bubbles inside each one. Too cute! She also sent several packets of seeds (Aster, Sweet William, Pinks and poppy), two beautiful bracelets that she made (LOVE THEM!), two gnome garden stakes, a cute tote bag and little portable radio that my kids are been using. It seems like there was more but I can't remember right now. Everything was so wonderful!

Good everyone has recieved thier packages but one that is on the way.....I hope eveyone had fun! I know I did....plus good news. I recieved five job offers and now have accepted one too! Whoo Hoo! Now on to getting My hotiholics package ready. Boy June has been really stressful for me not to mention that my son's birthday is Sunday and the stress of being the float chairman for my church. Hi sorry I didnt get to post earlier my hard drive was going very slow for a few weeks and then finally decided to finish its course downward... its better now thank goodness... I loved my box very much, I hope I can remember everything I got since I took it right out and planted it and used the rest... I got a cute thermometer and a garden stake that welcomes spring, a kit with shampoo and conditioner and a hand rescue treatment with gloves so cool,was great after the days of gardening I have been doing... a moon plant, and a calla lily... thanks so much,,, I dont know who sent it was no card or return address on the box... I would like to know so let me know who I can thank personally... and if I forgot to post something ok?
