    Hey everyone :)
hope you are all doing well..!!..I am sure everyone is busy in their gardens, we have been moving things and planting and mulching!! Just bought a truck load of mulch over the weekend, and finished putting it down the other day. I just love fresh mulch!! LOL! We were able to afford a used pickup, its a sonoma, i love it, it is coming in very handy!!..
Here are a few picks of my old rock garden...took out the rocks, and just piled them up around an old tree for now!
~Susan, your lovely garden sign you made me is right there in the middle of the garden!! I love it, thank you so much.
I have to admit, yes, i do buy a few annuals (i just need that "instant" color!) but have a lot of seeds that are doing very well, considering the weird spring we have had.
~~My best, best find this year is a concrete birdbath. i pulled it out of someones curbside trash, and DH just re-lined it with a little concrete for me,and its perfect!!
Anyway...Hope everyone is doing great, and enjoying springtime!!~~Im loving everyones pictures, my irsies, are slow to bloom this year...
    Blue skies to all!!
    Trish

    My "prize" birdbath!! LOL!

My strawberry jar, minus the strawberries!

    Trish,
Great score on the birdbath! The strawberry pot looks great and it will only get better : )

    Susie,
Lots of pretty iris! How many varieties do you have?

    Maryanne,
Love your iris no names and all too! I've got robins on my garage. The babies are getting big. Your granddaughter is getting big too!

Earthly-Names are ok but the unnamed are awesome too. G-Babe is the prettiest flower I have seen. Love all the pictures.

Trish-I love all the neat things you did in your yard. I like getting ideas from others.

Susie-Love all your irises, mine have been very disappointing this year. The really cold weather that hit must have affected them.

Susie this is Earth Song that you sent me last year.

Wow! What gorgeous blooms everybody! I want one of each please! lol

Here's a few new ones I've had the last couple of days....

Slap Me Sassy, had 2 blooms the first day, and I think the next ones will be even better, but call me SASSY, I love them! A little different....but hey....thats me!

    Rose Emily

    Harvest Hue

Most of my days, I've watched bloom for the first time this year, other than just a couple. I've seen some awesome blooms, but this one takes the cake, the icing & and the candle! I really don't have alot of small ones, most all are 5 1/2" to ?.........but this just WOWED me.

    Breed Apart (another one)
This thing has bloomed her heart out and you can see she's not finished!

Last but not least, I will refuse any requests for some of this bloomer!

I don't want to post this everywhere so hopefully everyone will see it here, I'm leaving tommorrow to go to the other house, I'm going to go have my 'weekend' that we would normally have had last weekend, should be lots of fun, we already have our bass boat up there, but before we left 2 weeks ago, also purchased a pontoon (sp?) boat which we can all go out on, so thats going to be so nice. Usually, I just let everyone else go out, now I'll go too. Love it on the water, if I have to fly, I'll post some more pics, maybe someone besides Remy will get to see them. Hope all you girls have a good weekend too!

    I need the rest!

Lol! Sassy, you are too funny.
It is neat to have a daylily with Sassy in the name. I think it will be awhile before I find a plant with Remy in the name. That huge unusual form daylily is very nice! I really like that Rose Emily too.
I hope you have fun this weekend.

    Shirley,
Such nice iris! I have Stairway to Heaven, but I've yet to ever see it bloom. I have a Bowl of Beauty peony too! I really love it. And I love that Columbine too. Sorry to hear your bed was a disappointment this year. Was it because everything is newer, not enough rain, or something else?

    Here's a few new ones.
Zebra iris finally starting to bloom.

Poppy Princess Victoria Louise. The color is off a bit from real life.

    Primula beesiana.

I just love everyone's gorgeous flowers!

    Jeanne,
The daylilies look great. Pumpkin Pie Spice is really interesting.

    Susie,
The bouquet is fantastic. All the new iris photos are great but I think I like Margaret Viola the best.

    Maryanne,
The deer photos are great. Who would of known cinnamon bread would be such a hit, lol. I love that iris that is white on top and blue on the bottom with the orange beard, very striking. I'm glad you got some nice photos of the peonies, rain and all.

    Kim,
I'm jealous of the bleeding hear bloom. I've killed a few plants. I just got some more at the swap. I'm going to try a few different spots. Hopefully one lives!
That is a great iris bed, so nice that you have your grandmother's iris.
I love the rose too, all full of blooms!

Here's the iris I took from the old house.

    Here's Wabash.
    {{gwi:196734}}

Here's Dover Beach that I got at the swap.

    Here's a penstemon 'Prairie Dusk'.

I think we need to start a new photo thread after this. It is taking awhile to load.

    Carol,
I see lots of great space for gardens!!! Take you time though. Don't kill yourself trying to get too much done.

Maryanne got the iris name correct, Honorabile. It is an historic iris from 1840.
    Maryanne,
I bought Big Smile too! I can't wait to see mine bloom.
Lol, about the roses. My sis-in-law came over the other day and got a quick tour. I thought of you. We were down wind from Marchessa Boccella, and she said, "What is that smell?!" It was the Marchessa. She was oohing and aahing over it.
I have a couple new posts on the Antique Rose Gallery. The link is below for you : )

    Kim,
I love the pics. I like the pink one you got last year the best.
