This is what I did for my mom for mothers day

Hey guys I wanted to share some pictures what I did for my mom for mothers day. She had a flowerbed, but it was looking messy. I decided to buy some more lilies to add on to it. She also wanted some basil and some other vegetables. My neighbor also gave me this awesome lily. She gave me 5 and now I have hundreds of them in the front yard. They have a bunch of baby plants. I think its call fourth of july or something. Well here are the pictures. I planted them like a month ahead. I should of planted them in spring instead of a month before mothers day to get more blooms. This is how it turn out now. I also took some pic of some climbing roses and other blooms . This year has the most blooms so far. Some of the amaryllis are still blooming.

So pretty, there's always an abundance of blooms in your mom's yard. Very nice of you to help out and make the gardens even prettier.

Very pretty, looks like you and your Mom have something going there! Do you happen to know what the orange plant poking through the fence is? And that orangy red rose on the fence (last photo) is just gorgeous. I would like to know about that rose, too. The lilies too are scrumptious!

Thank you guys. Sorry red, unfortunately I don't know the name of the rose nor the orange lily. The person that gave me the lilies call them 4th of July lily, but when I google it didn't match the flower. I think its call cromasiac or something. I saw it posted before in this forum.

What a wonderful way of showing how much you care and obviously how much your Mom loves pretty flowers

What beautiful flowers! I wish my Mom lived closer to me, so I could do the same for her :)

That orange lily is crocosmia (you were very close on the name), and I LOVE the way it peeks through the fence.. I also love the amaryllis - stunning!

Thank you barking for the name of the orange flower. I just google it and it has 2 more colors. I'm going to try to look for the yellow one in Houston. I also learn that if you put the the dried crocosmia flower in water it will give off a safron smell. I'm going to try it!
