If the flea beetles are that bad, mine never have been, then I'd suggest you use something like a pyrethrin spray which does work, and it's organic, rather than soap or something formulated for roses. And pyrethrin according to most feedback I've seen, works better than Neem. When Neem first came out it was supposed to do everything, but it hasn't turned out that way, I guess.

Next year think about planting a trap crop like eggplant. Flea Beetles just LOVE eggplant. ( smile)

Thank you!! im not sure if my beetles are bad really this is the first time i have had a veg garden and any little bug eating anything and im freaked out haha almost every leaf has holes in it and my mom lives down the road with eggplants and no holes at all.. everything i have read points to the flea i only want to use organic so thanks for that option!

Sometimes, it is touted, too much fertilizer, especially Nitrogen, can actually weaken a plant enough to make it enticing to the bugs. Oh yes, the plant looks good, but not only to you. This year to encourage spinach and lettuce I used a bit of blood meal in those rows. Now I wish I hadn't. Sure glad I used none with the tomatoes.
